Good bye Itzehoe

Last weekend of February 2008 saw about 100 writers meet up in the small town of Itzehoe, north of Hamburg, Germany. Itzehoe has for the last 20 years had a giant abandoned concrete factory area, an empty ghost-like place filled with nice graffiti. Over the years, many many writers have left their mark at this beautiful location, that must be among the biggest hall of fame areas in the world. But all good things comes to an end and now there are big plans for redevelopement of the area, the bulldozers have already started eating up the old buildings. Here is a few impressions and walls from Itzehoe.
